Unhappy What should I do? Wheels decision...

I currently have 20s Gemballa Racing Black Edition on my graphite gray Cayenne S and feel like replacing them for something bigger... I was considering the TechArt Formula in black and polished lip.

Here's how the car looks like now:

I don't really want to spend more money on the car so I was wondering how much I could sell the Gemballas for (only used for around 3000 miles with Michelin tires).

I think the TechArt Formulas in black are around $4500 and plus tires would be around $5500 I guess. Can I sell the Gemballas for $4500-$5000?

Anyone think the car would look better with the TechArt 22s than it does now? Thanks!

BTW, does anyone know if they also offer those wheels in graphite gray color or if people that have it in that color did a custom paint job? Thanks.

I think it would look better with techart 22s but i'm a little biased. The gemballa ones you have look sweet but in my opinion the cayenne needs 22s. Imo i dont think you could get over 4,000 for the gemballas. You should try to sell them and get some used techarts and have them custom painted. That's what i did, even though u can't tell since my car is silver, my rims are painted crystal silver metallic (same as the car).

Another reason why I went with the 20s on the Gemballa is because I heard that 22s are problematic. Mostly I've heard that since the Cayenne is too heavy and 22s usually use very thin tires, that the rims get bent/damaged easily if the car was to hit a pothole or something. Also, how much harsher is the ride on 22s?

In my opinion all you need to do is lower the truck. The 20's will look fine, 22's better, as long as its lowered.

You should just spend it on kw coilovers...or lower the car, the Gemballas are great.. either way if you decided to go 22's , you wont be happy with the stance, youre gonna have to lower it..

Yeah... but lowering is kinda pricey... even just for TechArt springs... I was quoted $1200 installed and balanced.

But what;s more expensive, buying new techart formula? or just lwering your car with your current wheels? techart formula with tires are in the $5K range retail...

And like alex911 stated, the gap with the 22's is going to be even more noticeable if you do not lower it!

Rinspeeds look cool, loads of cayennes with Techarts or Khans on them round our neck of the woods.

No point being different to be the same if you get what I mean?

H&R springs to lower- I believe they are what Techart uses.
K&W coilovers are great, but about $3500- but the handling will be awesome.
