What kind of discount expected on S?

Have a Carrera S and interested in a new SUV. Will be considering the Cayenne S. Any idea what kind of discount off MSRP I should expect from a dealer I just purchased a Carrera S with?

Since you are a repeat customer i would say that 5%-6% would be fair and 7%-8% would be a good deal (for the 2008 models. As more time passes it would be easier to get bigger discounts)

How good of a negotiator are you?

An 06 Titanium S was going for 11K off MSRP a week ago. My family called on several across the states and that was the norm. That should be a minimum off though.

If you get $4000 off especially in that area I'd say its a good deal.

Socal

San Diego to be exact. Anyone know what dealer in Socal gives the best deals?

I picked up a Cayenne S Titanium back in November of last year and was able to get 8K off...look to get 10-12K off at this point with the new model out.

Demo S with ~1400 miles, $16K off sticker and an oil change and service. The demo was the color and options I wanted. "New" were ~12k off sticker.
If you test drive an "S" turn the PSM off, it is a different car.
