Tyre prices?

In the UK I was just quoted 325 pounds sterling or $640 for a new 295/30-22 Pirelli Scorpion Zero for my CTT.

I ran it flat and wrecked the inside of the tyre wall.

How does this compare to the rest of the world?

I believe those are around $320 - $340 in the US. Seems like a great tire for US prices (z-rated and stated to have good treadwear).

I just ordered 285/35/22 in the Toyo Proxes S/T to be installed this weekend. They went for $250/per. I prefered these because they are at least M+S rated. We get snow hear until mid-May.

Off topic... Finally, I will be able to mount the Champion RG24's I've had sitting.

My dealer sent me a coupon offering 4 Pirelli Scorpion Zero replacments at $1000, installed. Sound like a good deal?

Yeah! If you are looking at r22's. If you are in the 18-20 inch range, diamaris are pretty reasonable in pricing.

I was trying to sell my factory 275/45/r19 for $600. They had 400 miles on them. I ended up selling them to the dealer for $500 so I could get some precious garage space back.

Thanks for the info.

We really seem to get shafted in the UK for everything. Think I will upsticks and move!

Cars are twice the price, tyres are twice the price and fuel is 4 times the price!
