On Tuesday, a 2004 GT3 was stolen from Ira Porsche. The car is yellow with PCCB and lots of yellow trim inside. the VIN is WP0AC29934S692192. The car had about 350 miles on it when it left here. WTF?? How did that happen?? I thought you cant steal Porsches without the keys?

 

Alfie- Do you know how it was stolen?

 

AFAIK, during the day, we moved some cars around so we could get another one ready for delivery. The keys were in or near the car, some brave soul walked up, hopped in, and drove off. The only person who saw it go thought it was going on a test drive.

I think whenever you get a really expensive car... the first thing to do is to get a low jack

 

Agreed but that car was not sold and usually Lo Jack is paid for by the owner and is at their request...not standard for a dealer to install it on every car and out of their pocket...I for one do not like Lo Jack - if my car is stolen I do not want to find it as it will most likely be crashed, abused or in pieces after being chopped for parts....

 

A friend bought a sweet 2004 BMW m3 from Herb Chambers (Black on Cinammon). They had already installed Low Jack, and he had to pay for it whether he wanted it or not.

Your gonna love this Ray M: Me and my friend were at H.C. Porsche looking at the cayennes, and on our way out, he caught a glimpse of the black M3 w/ cinnammon interior. But he did not have his wallet. So i actually gave him my credit card so that he may put down a deposit, he did. and he now has an m3. Just cuz he came along to look at cayennes.
