I'd go for the 08, but make sure you get PASM and the PDDC. For the extra 6 or 7 grand you get an SUV that handles like a sports sedan. It's the only reason I might concider upgrading from my 05 CS.

Fot that you must ask Alex, he has had 6 Cayenne. I think 2 Turbos, one V6 and a titanium, the new S and a old S. MY vote is a red titanium. Looks pretty sweet. Good luck to find the right one.

That red Titanium edition is really horny lookin'. It gets my vote and the savings can go to the "mod" fund.

06 STit are very tempting, I was offered $15K+ off sticker, I was looking at the V6 though, could get them at about the same price. I went with the 08 when they really aggressively started discounting the V6. It was hard to pass up all the goodies on the STit. Two reasons its for my wife and I don't think she needs the HP and if I trade it in its technically 2 years newer.

you have a good point Frank about resale.but in 2 years i think an 06 titanium S may still be worth more than an 08 6cyl. maybe im wrong but you do have a point about a 2 year difference.im just wondering if there is a big change between the 06 and the 08 cayenne S?

06 titanium edition Cayenne S especially the Guards red one, I would try to haggle and bargain with the dealer in installing the aerokit front and rear valance.

I was in the same situation two months ago. I was offered on 08 Cayenne S and a Titanium Edition for 15k off the sticker. I tested both of them and really there is not a huge difference. So I went with the Titanium.
