SDA1906, any progress with your clock installation?

You probably do need proper software for the compass to work. Each PCM unit is factory coded specifically according to your VIN, therefore it only works with whatever equipment the vehicle is ordered with.

my build on my 12 is 04/12 and has the clock as standard, i dont think its a bew feature on the 13's. one thing i dislike about it is that the second hand always ticks and i cant seem to figure out a way to make it stationary.

I found a menu entry in PCM which can turn off this clock completely. That'll solve the second hand ticking problem.

The PCM is always full of surprises...

I found everything I needed. I ordered the dash peace from suncoast. I used a 2 5/8 to 2 1/16 adapter to install a 2 1/16 clock I had made. I think the install looks really clean. The adapter is black metal. The clock has a metal bezel and is backlit. I am pretty happy with it over all. It took a high end car audio shop about 3 hours for the install. It was hard to find a wire to trigger the backlight numbers. It looks great at night. The numbers and clock hands match the dash also.

Thanks. I am looking to do the same to my Panamera. Do you need to change the mounting position of the center speaker? How do you adjust the time on the clock?

It will be in Porsche best interest if you just trade in your car and buy a new one with the clock.
