cayenne S arrived but the sales guy screwed the gear box!

hey today i went to porsche to pick up my cayenne S my slaes rep ( god i despise him ) said he would bring the car around.... when he came he was kinda going fast and then hit the brakes hard and put the gear to "park" the gear box made an occurred sound of (klank ) i still didn't buy the car post poned it to tomorrow. do you guys think that what he did will screw up the gear box in the future or if it's a one time thing it's okay?
please give me some advice i,m going crazy !!

I believe it happens all the time in the dealership when we are not looking.... If it bothers you much, then maybe just take another test drive and see if anything is really wrong & decide.

For this kind of stuff, we (consumers) have no control. It will happen again when we take the car in for service, etc...

I think people do that more than you think even as drivers of their own cars...

definitely just test drive it again...

I wouldnt worry too much about it, one would expect manufacturers expect this to happen and have safeguards in place to prevent damage.

Happens all the time
The gear box is built to withstand hundreds of thousands of hard miles. A couple of hard stops means nothing.

I'm curious to know what you said to him when he came up and did that to your car?

Power porsche newport. i recommend you dont go there every one that works there has a bad attitude and will never give you a good deal. you,re better off going to Downtown LA
