OWS causing any delays at ports?

Saw this in the news, apparently the Occupy folks attempted to disrupt ports along west coast today:

My car's waiting at San Diego port, to be delivered to norcal, sure hope the protests don't make the wait any longer...

Anybody else in the same boat?

I imagine it will end soon as it seems it is costing longshoremen and delivery drivers pay. They won't stand for that for too long.

That's good to hear... yeah, checking the news, seems it wasn't as bad as some people were fearing over the weekend. Now I can get back to counting down the minutes until my delivery makes its way to the dealership......

This part of the ordering process definitely feels like the longest! It will be over soon!

I know! Car is only a 7 hour drive away, yet I have to wait days and days for paperwork, ugh... It was easier when I knew the car was thousands of miles away, or on a boat moving at 10 mph across the atlantic

Mine was on Delphinus Leader, disembarked from San Diego on Friday. Do you mind me asking how long your wait was from port to dealer?

I was watching some of the live coverage of the OWS of the Port and it was basically a huge nothing.

Since 9/11 security is tight and all there area down there is private so those fools had no where to really interfere with actual operations. That and the fact that the Unions down there told them to go skip rocks and gave them no support.

I guess they thought because the cities tolerated them and allowed them to disrupt public areas that they could mess with actual money making operations.
