Blackened headlights and taillights

I am ordering a 2013 CTT in black. Will the taillights and headlights in black tint be too much for the car. I have never seen this option in person.

Check out Pepper09TT's posts. He has lots of pictures of his JBM with blackened headlights and tails. They look great, IMO. Thinking of doing the same thing.

Depends on how much you value contrast. If you like contrast, you'll probably prefer the normal lenses. If you want a consistent look, black will be nice. Same with the color matched mirror/spoiler option on a light car. Some swear by the sharp contrast between the white paint and black mirrors. Others prefer a single color. IMHO

Just installed them on my standard black car (spec-ed the car with the standard headlight / tailight). Had the same concerns. Didn't want the hardcore murdered out look. Result was definitely more subtle. In fact, I really think the black headlight / tailight matches the black car more. Looks more stealth and definitely not overkill.

Did you do the install yourself? Can you post some info on how to remove the lights on the rear hatch door?

I had someone do it for me. Took them less than an hour to do them.

One other option is a MUST..extended wheel arches painted
The end result is not too much(not having it is not enough)...
...Just much sleeker and finished
