Lastest PCM version (2.44?)

Does anyone have any REAL information the 2.44 software for the CTT?

My deal says 'they still don't have it'.

You dealer either is lying or lacking knowledge on the subject. I have it. My dealer updated it for me a few months ago. Only difference I have noticed is the lower right corner has a clock instead of temperature. My Cayenne is a 2011 and below is a picture of the update. Sorry about the dust.

I had my dealer update to the above pic referenced as the newest update as well.
Clock bottom right is an addition as well as the blue tooth audio button on the audio screen; there's an extra button there when connected.
Also even though I can't imagine how a software update on the PCM had anything to do with it, but at that same update time I felt my car get faster shifts and quicker responsiveness. (no clue if this is related) but when they performed the upgrade of the PCM, I felt an upgrade on the shifting....

It's out there.
Some dealerships will do it as a courtesy and some will charge you hundreds.

Good luck!

J

It was at the same time I had GIAC software installed on my DME
So I am not sure how much of the quicker shifting by my CT is due to 2.44
All i know for sure is that I enjoy driving it more and more everyday

You can choose in the settings menu to have the clock or the temperature at the lower left corner.

It was a warranty fix for me. I use the stocks and sports scores function regularly. Prior to the update, the PCM would forget which teams I was watching and which stocks I had loaded periodically. I complained about that and told them that someone hear had to get an update because they were losing satellite presets periodically. The update fixed my PCM problem, plus I got the time in the corner.

Just had 2.44 installed a month ago. Printed a message from this forum to show dealer what they should be installing. Got an "Oh Yea..You are Right" from them after a little searching.

Thanks for the suggestion. I would like to know what the 0.01 does before I ask for it. Right now everything works fine. The old saying comes to mind: if it ain't broken, don't fix it. My clock has always worked fine and the placement of things on the screen if that's it, doesn't concern me. Anyone know what this 0.01 fix does or where to find the info?

So true..everything works fine for me too and I consider myself fortunate to also have such a fun and reliable car-I always use prudence when making any changes
Stopping by my dealership tomorrow,so I will ask about what these "newer" versions are about..
