You should have a unique looking Cayenne with those. Can you give us your list of options for fun?

Sure, here are my options:

Definite:
21" turbo IIs
Black 14 way seats
Panoramic roof
Auto dimming mirrors
Privacy glass
Entry & Drive
Reversing camera and sensors
rear sunshades
4 zone climate control
ventilated seats
heated front and rear
LCA
LED lighting with extended
Carbon fiber MF wheel
Carbon fiber interior with selector
Carbon fiber illuminated kickplates
PCM

Probable:
Carmine Red
PDCC - can definitely understand benefit
PVT - not sure about benefit

Considering/Not sure:
Burmester>Bose (likely will go with Bose)
ACC - big expense, but could it save a life that split second you aren't paying attention.

I like your build.

I would really, really recommend the Burmester. To me, it is one of those things that is great about my car. One of those things I missed out on in my first turbo, and have had on all subsequent vehicles.

It is a fantastic option, and while jamming down the road, you will really, really learn to appreciate having it. Can't be retrofitted, much like ACC or PTV/PDCC.

I think PDCC is MUCH more important than PTV for most driving. If you can have both, it is really good!

Congrats, now enjoy the process!

J

I really think the PDCC and ACC is a must.

The ACC saved my a$$ a couple times already from people cutting me off and slamming on their brakes ahead of me.

Excellent selection of options. I assume you do not want the roof rails, because they cannot be retrofitted. You need the factory roof rails in order to install the cross bars, this is unlike the previous gen Cayenne.

Doesn't sound like you are skimping to me. Very cool.
Did you get a chance to compare the sound systems?

I haven't tried the sound systems yet. I plan on auditioning them on the 15th. I have a guy at the local dealer who's opinion I trust. Hopefully he can help me out in narrowing some choices.

If I get everything I want, I am looking at a sticker of about $120k. It just seems like so much $$$. I really want the ACC. If I skip the carmine red and the Burmester, I would save a good $7k.

But..... I drive my cars in the ground and that $7k over the long haul may not be much While the carmine red and Burmester may give me daily happiness.

LED Rear Lights Tinted Black
Bi-Xenon(TM) Headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System
Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC)
Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus)
Light Comfort Package with Memory Package
Extended LED comfort lighting package
Seat Ventilation Front
Walnut Interior Package including Selector Lever
21" Cayenne Sport Edition Wheel Painted Black
(BOSE is standard on the turbo as well as a few other things)

It is pretty amazing how the turbo cost is similar. I think part of the reason is that about 3 or 4 of my options are about $3-4k each. I am also getting a pretty reasonable discount as well. Will keep you guys posted once I put in the final order.

I am sure the hardest part will be waiting until April!

Yes the waiting is the hardest part!

Also on mine I am not getting the sports package panels which you get standard with the GTS.

Just for kicks... I am sure this is in other posts, but what will I actually notice with PDCC and PTV plus. I imagine the less body roll is noticeable. The PTV plus I am not sure. Maybe better grip in the snow? I just wonder if these things would be noticeable if I wasn't drive vehicles with and without them back to back.

Hey everyone, I just had another question. To save some money I may do the black on black wheels. Would save ~$3k off the carmine red. I looked online and the black sportedition wheels and wanted to know how to order them. There is about a $300 dollar difference between the body color painted and the black painted wheels. I imagine they will be the same if I order a black vehicle. Am I right?

DC could you reword that question. I am not sure what you are asking. And are you considering changing the color from the red to something else?
Rob.

To use a skiing comparison(where you put more pressure on your downhill ski to turn),PTV allows you to enter, exit and carve your turns with more confidence
As much I like the Burmester,I would easily pick PTV over it
I did not have PDCC on my 09CT,so for my new CT,it was the first option I checked
Awesome combo with PTV

Pepper, thanks for the info.

In regards to the color, I am thinking of potentially going non-metallic black with the black sport design wheels as a combo rather than the carmine red with turbo IIs. Would save about 2.5-3k.

I know you can pick the sportdesign wheels to match body color for about $300 less than ordering them as black. I didn't know how that worked if your body color was black.

Getting close.. I can't wait until I put in the order..... although the wait will be super tough.
