WeatherTech battery charger looks the same.

Poking around the WeatherTech website I see they sell a charger that looks just like the higher priced ones for our cars. Does anyone have any experience with this one?

Certainly looks like the CTEK
We all are guilty for overpaying Specifically branded items .
I recently stopped by my BMW parts dept to secure a cord o go from the audio jack in the car to my iPhone. Sure we can get u one....$34.00
Order it hot doggie decent tunes.
Stopped by a local brushless wash and there was one hanging up with all the good smelling stuff..3.5 feet for $7.00.
Oh boy did BMW hear it when I cancelled. Not really their fault..mine

Ha. But I thought no one duped the RAK?

Anyway it does look just like the CTEK. Adapting a cigarette lighter plug should be easy enough. Worth saving about half with this model over the CTEK versions.

Yes I agree. Ya gotta watch everything. BMW is not the place for an audio cable.
Hey RAK- my CTT is built and has been sitting over there in Germany waiting for a boat to the U.S. Dealer said it will go to Rhode Island then down to here........

Last I check I was PLPROD with a build date mid Jan and a late FEb Delivery.
All my prior Porsches have come into the port in Baltimore which is a huge VPC for PCNA.. Rhode Island?

I just got the same exact battery tender but mine says CTEK on it. I paid $55 for it.

Amazon Amazon

I also saw "official" Porsche battery tender for $110.

Amazon Amazon

It's the same as CTEK but with the word PORSCHE on it. Maybe it charges twice as fast because it's a Porsche ?

Looks identical to the ctek charger. I get them every year at PRI for 60 bucks and it is the model that show what step it is on with the reconditioning. This looks like the more basic ctek charger.

The OEM Porsche charger is made my CTEK and does come standard with the cig lighter end. The weathertech looks identical, it must be made by CTEK.

Twice the price but I dont have to monkey around with leads or the hardwire under my hood.

Actually I just ordered the charger together with two options for total of $82 on Amazon and CTEK has $10 off for over $75 so net should be about $72!
Don't know whether to thank this forum for always suggesting things to spend money on or curse it
