% off '14 CD

Hey .. time to upgrade the daily driver .. wondering what the 6speeders felt going rate % off of sticker on a Cayenne Diesel is? I know there are ton sitting on lots (according to cars.com), but this is a Porsche and I want ours to suit our tastes.

Thanks in advance ..

I think it really depends on your dealer, but 3-5% for ordered cars seems pretty standard. Some guys on the board have done even better than that.

Maybe a little bit more for a car on the lot that they may have been floorplanning for a while.

Not sure how the popularity of the Diesel ranks - if they are very popular, then they may not budge as much.

AFAIK, there are no 14 CDs on lots yet, just 13. Differences are minimal.

Second what Nash says, consensus is 3-5% & depends how flush they are with stock.

I got well over 10%, but that was a really crazy deal at a dealer with literally dozens in stock.

ok - so 10% on stock and 3 to 5% on order .. I'm at 7% on order, but I'm a fairly decent customer I get there are only minimal changes from '13 to '14, but I don't want the CD till Dec and I have not found one close to how I would like mine spec'd .. way too many choices of options with P cars

What dealer was that, if you don't mind my asking? I am in NorCal, but for that kind of deal, I could make a trip to SoCal...
