Steering Rack Rattle

I wanted to see if any of you have the problem that I have been having for a while.

Whenever the road becomes slightly bumpy (or even when the vibration comes from the engine), the upper plastic cover in between steering wheel and the instrumental cluster rattles.

I have tried pushing the plastic cover down, pushing/pulling it around with no success.

Please let me know if any of you have the similar problems and if you've found any fix.

Thank you,

I have the same issue in my 2015 5 weeks old Cayenne Diesel. Did you ever get it fixed?

Thanks.

I've noticed that the 958 cayenne has some rattling trim issues. I do not have it on my steering cover but on my dash cover and the trim piece on the right side of the instrument panel. I think they have felt like material inside to prevent rattles but sometimes they need readjustments. I would try unscrewing the cover panel and try attaching some felt pads on the contact points.
