If it is, you are in luck, I've been so excited ever since I got the vessel name so I started tracking its every moves My GTS was born on 1/14/14 and left the port of Bremerhaven on 1/19/14 and SHOULD arrive port of Long Beach by 2/20/14.

Below is some vessel movements for your viewing pleasure

This was taken on 1/16/14 at Bremerhaven, that means my car and/or yours was somewhere on the terminal waiting to be loaded!


On 2/4/14 (Today!) it arrived at the Miraflores Locks at the Panama Canal


This was the first time seeing it moved! via the Panama Canal Centennial Bridge live Cam


Here it is entering the locks to be lowered, my GTS is somewhere inside its giant belly


Finally in the frame of its high res cam (at the highest point after chambers were closed)


This was the lowest point before the vessel started to move away


it is absolutely amazing to be able to see it move through the canal, I was really lucky, just at the right place at the right time to be able to see it crossing the canal. I really can't wait!

For those that are interested in seeing how they load cars at Bremerhaven, came across this article where they went to visit Europe's biggest port few days after my vessel left!

Lol!!!! It would give me an ulcer to have to wait and watch a huge cargo ship inch its way across the pond, then across the Panamera (intended) canal and then up the left coast to port. I would probably need to be medicated. And my wife would probably never talk to me again.

Anyway...Impressive research. You must have a background in catching the bad guys.

now the boat just crossed Cabo San Lucas and will arrive at port of San Diego in 36 hours, according to my dealer, this is the last stop for my car, they will arrange transport from here instead of Long Beach!

 

it ARRIVED it ARRIVED! the port that is, the wait is getting unbearable knowing that it's sitting on California soil, I think 1 more week to go!
