I'm due for an oil change and about to change it at home. What oil do you guys recommend? Based on my research, for v6 model, Mobil 1 5w30 is recommended. Is it okay to use Mobile 1 0w40 instead? Also how many litters or quarts do I need? I tried searching v6 engine oil amount and was not successful finding a solid answer.

5w30 or 0w40? My local walmart has bunch of 0w40 in stock but not the 5w30.

I asked the same question but we are supposed to use vw504 or porsche c30 for v6 and diesel. For mobil1 it is 5w30esp. M1 0w40 is vw502/505 porsche a40 which is for all the other except ours and diesels.

Its been about 500miles since dealer flushed with 0w40 a40 on my car...u think it's imperative i flush it again now or i be okay for couple thousand miles? Say another 3000....
