Does the 958 Have Options Codes Sticker?
Does the 958 Have Options Codes Sticker?
Hi all
Does the 958 Cayenne have an options code sticker like the earlier Cayenne's had? My 955's (and 911 996's too) used to have an options sticker inside the service booklet which gave some options, although not everything?
I asked my dealer to decode my VIN and he seems to be reluctant to send me anything.
Ive looked online and not found a lot as expected so was going to atleast read the sticker and decode them myself, but the 958 booklet doesnt have one, only a black label with VIN number, engine code, number etc.
Thanks
Carl

Look up your own VIN in the Porsche system and see all the options. Use this link and change it to show your VIN at the end

my car was officially out of production yesterday..I got the VIN # from the dealer and it worked for me. Was able to see all the options, prices, etc...
If you want to send me your VIN in a PM, I will try it to see if it is just operator error

When it was first posted on RL my 2013 CD showed up, but it took a few months before my wife's 2001 996 showed up and the information is wrong (its a C4 but the system says its a targa which i don't believe existed in MY01).
I had the same issue. UK dealers don't seem to be as forthcoming.I called my local dealer and they weren't that helpful. I found from the owners manual the original dealership that sold the car to the previous owner. They sent me the build sheet no problem. I said I wanted to see what options the car had as I wanted to order some more stuff for it and also enquired about servicing the car with them to entice them into sending it.
That link is for Porsches delivered to North America. Where are u?
