IPD Plenum

I had Suncoast in Florida put a IPD Plenum in my CTTS. Noticeable power surge
and the turbo boost gauge jumps now.
With the bypass pipes already on it has a nice rumble and a throaty roar on stabbing the throttle in any gear. Now drive with windows cracked a bit to hear the musical exhaust. Downside is ......13MPG in town due to all throttle blipping and stabbing. Such is life.

Great to hear Rak!
Always good to hear additional, credible reviews on the IPD plenum.
Having read a few controversial posts, i've held off on the mod.
Looks like i should reconsider...

Just looking at the OEM intake that I brought home it is clear to see why the IPD works. THe thing is huge in comparison and the openings are considerably larger. No secret that when it breathes better it runs better. I was thinking why not Porsche use a larger intake part like that...but by enlarging it a bit on each model year and other tweaks they get to advertize more HP.
Wonder they know is the maximum HP out of the TT in conjunction with wht transmission and rear end parts can sustain

I have no actual number for gains.. Just my own sensory feel and audible increase as well.

That was my impression as well. I also upgraded the OEM plastic diverter valves at the same time so I could not solely attribute the "feel" to just the IPD.

Im doing the plenum, Brombacher headers and FVD piggyback on my 991tts which already has the FVD high flow cats and sport exhuast. I might add the Plenum on the Cayenne depending on how it does with all this other stuff I am putting on the other car. My wife drives the Cayenne though so I don't want to "overdo" it on the mods there but the Plenum sounds like a good one.

How does the plenum work on on a NA engine, I have a 958 CTS and was considering doing the Plenum mod? Any thoughts on if the change is worth it and how much HP or faster 0 to 60 you get?

If anyone is interested in the IPD plenums - like others have said, they flat out work! Amazing what can be accomplished by such a simple bolt on mod.

We are doing a special holiday sale on them - feel free to send me a PM and I'll be glad to take care of you guys!

Thanks to RAKLAW and a few others on the forum,
I ordered the Plenum because it sounds like a good mod for a CTT.
I'll post my install and findings once it arrives.
Hope the install is as straightforward as it sounds

House Motorsports hooked me up with a New Years gift to myself.
Thanks Jason

You'll love the GIAC Tune! Couple that with an exhaust upgrade and you'll have one heck of a beast!
