irratic steering

Hi I have a 2011 cayenne. Ive had it for 7 weeks. It has servotronic. I've noticed a few times now the steering can suddenly veer to the left or right very suddenly on its own accord. If I didnt have a firm grip on the wheel I'm certain I could have gone off the road on one occasion. This can be when it goes over a road marking etc .

Any idea what this could be, thanks

I checked everything and it still happens. Dealer checked it and found no fault.

Really worrying to hear that. The twitches are really noticeable that my wife who was passenger in the car noticed them. Again like yourself it's really hard to replicate the issue- but when it happens it does scare you.

Tyre pressures sorted, Wheels have been re aligned. Going to do a 70 mile round trip on the motorway so will report back shortly. The alignment on the front right was quit badly out.

If you don't report back we will assume the worst

Lived to drive another day! Haven't managed to replicate the issue so far. Mine was more at lower speeds than motorway speeds, yours?

Mine has only twitched in season 2 in snow, with stock 18 in Wheels/tires. I put a set of Blizzaks on this year, and haven't experienced it yet, but haven't gone too much in snow.
