OK, thanks, A! I think that particular amp is a little rich for my blood, especially since we still have the stock speakers, but I do like another Alpine unit, the KTP-445U Power Pack. It's smaller and has less power, of course, but it'll still be a definite improvement over stock and I won't have to use the space under my spare. That's a big deal to me now since I've mounted the spare "upside down" so I can store stuff inside the wheel. I really appreciate the photos in your other thread as they've given me a better idea of what I'll be dealing with when I start tearing up the interior!
