4-point LED DRLs headlight conversion anyone ?

Has anyone been able to successfully enable the 4-point LED DRLs (like on a GTS/Turbo models) on a CS/CD ?

I have the 2011 Cayenne Diesel with PDLS BiXenons, and my headlights look bit-for-bit identical to friend's Turbo. I have placed cars side by side then I have taken pictures to analyse them - I swear they are the same:

Cayenne Turbo:

You can even see the LEDs through the glass. My guess is, the headlights are indeed identical (at least on PDLS equipped cars) and the only thing that is missing is the programing and/or wiring. If the latter, then it should be an easy project - just remove the bumper and headlights, and route the DRL power wire from the indicators/DRL assy to the headlights socket.

I would only need to learn which pins on the Turbo headlights carry the DRL power.

Just reviving this old thread, as I recently installed new smoked headlamps with the 4-LEDs in my 2012 Cayenne S.
How did you end up wiring them in?
Best regards & thanks, Alex

To to your local car electric tech. You need to disconnect one of the wire that goes to your DRL bars and run it to the headlight connector instead.

I did this on my car and everything works (I have also swapped the bumper).

Pro TIP: you can do all the work without removing the bumper. Just remove the wheel and wheel liner.

Thank you for the quick feedback!
I assume according to this wiring diagram I should pick up No.4 YEL/BLU from the DRL bars? No.3 BRN must be ground for the DRL bar...

try contacting insane car Audio in Annapolis MD or crazy car audio in college park Maryland. They do incredible custom work. Ask for Cyrus, he’s done work on my 987 Cayman GT, 2012 Panamera 4 (installed the turbo/GTS motorized wing), cayenne S Hybrid, Macan S, and did a lot of custom work on my Audi TT.

Yes, pins 3 and 4 in headlight. keep in mind second drl wire yellow but not blue.
And if you would like connect them in wire loom under left headlight - few wires same color, so be careful..
