Front end facelift conversion: Cayenne 958.1 > 958.2

After completing a rear end facelift conversion project on my 2011 Cayenne (Project Thread LINK), I decided to go with the front to match.

Cayenne 958.1 (2010-2014):

Cayenne 958.2 (2015-2018):

I've seen pictures from a member from Malasia, who did it, so it is definately doable.

There are two problems with this project:

1. You need to change 8 metal parts under the hood, that support the new style hood and fenders (8 parts in total). Some cutting and welding is necessary, which makes this a MAJOR project.

2. The guy in Malasia that did the project, was unable to make the AFS feature and high beams work on his car.

A work around for the #2 would be just to use the facelifted xenon headlights vs the cool looking full LED.

I decided to start with buying the LED headlights and trying to make them work, before I order any parts.

I will also probably need a new Gateway module, and maybe also new AFS modules.

Send me a private message or give me your email and I will send you a contact # to the person that did it.

Mind you - the high beam issiu hasn't been solved yet by anyone I know of (you will loose high beam and PDLS feature). I still haven't done the conversion because of this.

I was not able to confirm that the high beams would work after the conversion (all of the people I've spoken to had no working high beams) so I just put the turbo bumper:

I would at least do the oem gts headlights. A black roof would also look great on your car.

Not a big fan of the black headlights. However, 4-point DRL do work after some wiring mod:
