OK, thanks. I'm affraid the AFS system may make this difficoult.
I did two similar FL projects before: on 2010 Audi S5 and 2010 Audi Q5. Both involved bi-xenon to bi-xenon swap. The swap was easy (basicly plug & play) because cars were not equipped with AFS. From what I've read, doing such a swap in AFS equipped cars is much more difficoult.
Yes indeed u need an AFS module as FL uses Private Can and 11-14 model uses Crash can signal.
Coding is needed for the conversion in order to make the headlight led lid up as well.
BTW - I have managed to sell many of my leftover, pre FL parts already.
With everything sold, my parts bill should be ... $0 (yes, zero).
That would leave me with $1200 labor bill. Not bad, for such an extensive project which transformed the look of the car. If my car was in a different color than white (which has changed from pre to post lift model, forcing us to respray the tailgate and bumper from the new Flat White to the old Sand White), my labor bill would be even lower.
I can imagine doing this project for as little as $700 on a car say in black (any color that was carried over from 2010-2014 to 2015-2018 model).

I'm decided to abandon the front FL project. This is no more a simple parts swap job, like the rear end FL. The entire front car body (under the panels) is different. To do it right, one would need to cut & weld pretty much the entire front of the car, as the apron assembly is different, due to different shape of the hood / fenders:
I have put the wheel arch extensions. The car starts to look the way I wanted it to look. I may change the wheels (again) though. I may go for RS-Spider wheels in dark grey + acid green calipers.
Next project: getting the 4-point DRL in the headlights to work.
I don't like the look of the rear bumper lower valance painted in white, so I will keep the lowers unpainted. I will probably go with 20" Spyder wheels, as that is one of the very few wheels that look good in 20". I don't want 21". They look cool, but that's it.
