That is an incredible job. Looks totally OEM.

You can only do it in coutries like Russia, where prices of cars (both new and used) are much higher and labor costs are much lower.

?? This 2009 Cayenne turbo here about 13000 $.
Labor costs about 50$/hour in garage grade workshop and 100$ at dealer.

This tail was about 2500. Thanks Poland for parts much cheaper then official from porsche))

I just got contaced by guy, who wants to buy a complete front end of my car: hood, bumper and fenders.

A new, front end facelift project never looked more tempting ... I'm wondering what to do now. Keep the existing 958.1 front end or go for FL one. Having a buyer for your old parts is a BIG advantage.

few of them. it is really expensive, also fo Russians) now we are waiting for custom front end like 2019 cayenne turbo for 2015+ 958. complete bumper with lower part and grilles. But you will need fenders, lights, hood and some hidden mounting parts and electric units from FL 958.

Do you know what electronic modules are needed ? I know you need some modules if you want to upgrade to LEDs. Do you also need them when going from bi-xenons with PDLS to bi-xenons with PDLS ? (so basicly - same headlights)

I have bi-xenons with PDLS right now.

I know.

Gateway
In some cases steering electronics - if difficult to switch from high to low beam.
rear camera if present.
front electric in some cases - if you can not change codings in new manner.

If you have AFS unit installed - do not know will you need to replace it or not.

Are you talking bi-xenon with AFS (PDLS) to bi-xenon with AFS (PDLS)

or

bi-xenon with AFS (PDLS) to LED with AFS (PDLS plus) ?

in FL cars you do not need replace AFS unit then uprade from xenon to led. It is not necessary to have PDLS+ to install LED in cayenne FL.

But regarding 2014- MY i do not have such experience with AFS units.

OK, thanks. I'm affraid the AFS system may make this difficoult.

I did two similar FL projects before: on 2010 Audi S5 and 2010 Audi Q5. Both involved bi-xenon to bi-xenon swap. The swap was easy (basicly plug & play) because cars were not equipped with AFS. From what I've read, doing such a swap in AFS equipped cars is much more difficoult.
