Red chassis system failure

So i was in the midle of nowhere and it was -20 celsius and a red warning popped with chassis system failure. and it didnt go away.
I tried stopping and starting the car but it soon popped up again. no way to adjust the hight at the moment.
The car is parked now and it sits very low, is it safe to keep driving?

Fault codes are
000257 Pressure sensor, signal line short circuit to B+
000284 Control position not adjustable, vehicle too high or too low

My guess is the compressor has frozen, but my concern can i drive it? as im 2 hours from home.

Is there any way to warm it up?

It might be the compressor, but other people on rennlist.com have reported the front air-springs leaking down in subfreezing temperature - due to the O ring at the top of the spring. One chap is replacing his springs then planning on trying to rebuild his old ones. Apparently, the needed O-ring and seals are available. This has only happened in COLD COLD temperatures..

Perhaps you can find a garage that would let you bring it in overnight to warm up.. I wouldn't try driving it with no air in the air-springs - that's about certain to damage them beyond repair.

Thanks, i don't thing its the shocks, as the car is low on all corners.
Weather should be better today, still freezing, but will do my best to heat up the garage.

Compressor is running again now, I believe it should work all the way to the shop now as the weather is varmer.

So annoying right before christmas.

Guess its due for a compressor swap, all corners are at their proper height and no airleakages, so hopefully theres no damage to the suspension/dampers.

Old thread same problem
000257 Pressure sensor, signal line short circuit to B+
000284 Control position not adjustable, vehicle too high or too low
Replaced (4) air struts with Bilstein's new compressor and relay and Arnott valve block
Same codes.
