Milltek Sport Exhaust for CTTS Review

Recently took advantage of a sale on the full Milltek Sport exhaust for the Cayenne Turbo S. The craftsmanship is absolutely first rate. The entire system is 70mm, a 7.7% increase in pipe size over the factory exhaust. Even more amazing, the bypass pipes are single-piece fully mandrel bent pipes, with factory equivalent mounting brackets. Gone are the puny 2.5" bypass pipes sold by several vendors. In fact, all of the tubing is fully mandrel bent and everything fit perfectly, which isn't always the case with some aftermarket exhausts.

The installation was very straight forward and everything fit beautifully. I used the install as an opportunity to replace all of the factory exhaust hangers since it is far easier to remove the factory exhaust by the mounts instead of attempting to remove from the mounts. The reward of the install was an engine that was noticeably breathing far easier, as well as a deeper, pleasing to my ears, exhaust note. Highly recommended if you're inclined to go aftermarket.

An update. Finally had a chance to record a cold start. The sound isn't really done justice in the video; it's deep and powerful without any hint of resonance in the passenger cabin. It's the best sounding Cayenne Turbo exhaust I've heard, including my former Tubi exhaust.

Sounds good. Did you notice anything different in the seat of the paints?

I installed the non-resonated version. Seat of the pants impression after driving with it for several months is that the engine absolutely breathes more freely . . . the CTTS should have come with 70mm pipes from the factory IMO.
