VR Tune

I am thinking of getting this for my Cayenne S. Has anybody else installed this part and can give me any reviews about it. Good and bad reviews gladly accepted.

VR ECU Tune

Just had this done a week ago on my (new to me) 2006 S. I had installed their cold air intake a few weeks before. This really woke up the V8 power I had expected from the S. Next will be an exhaust upgrade.

Hey Tom! Didn't know you were a 6speed member! Glad to see you are enjoying the tune though

Thank you. Is it pretty easy to switch between the different maps and such? How long did it take for them to get back your ECU to you?

I wish they made air intakes for my model of year.

Hey, I'll chime in since Im not sure if Tom uses the forums that often. It would be an actual flash tune which does not allow switching between maps like a Cobb accessport would. It looks like you have a 2013 Cayenne S which means the ECU would have to be mailed in to us, we will be able to tune it and mail it back out within 24 hours(usually the same day).

How easy is it to switch back to "stock" mode when it goes in for servicing? Is it better to have all the other aftermarkets on first before getting the ECU or does it not matter?

To have the '13 Cayenne S ecu flashed back to stock, it would still have to be shipped in. We will flash it either back to stock or to the tuned file 2 times a year for free and $100/flash after that. It is definitely better to have it done after you do any other modifications you were thinking about, but if your plans were nothing too crazy, just exhaust/intake then you will be fine either way. let me know if you are interested, its the last day of the month and can make a deal for 6speed members.
