It happens every now and then when I'm driving...
I can hear a very strong knocking kinda sound coming from the dashboard/center console. Anyone else has this problem?

 

Nobody has this same problem?

 

Damn...you're scaring me. I hear a slight knock when accelerating from a stop...wife drives it now so I don't notice it lol. This along with the friggin line out in the dash makes me want to trade it in.

Same here , happens sometimes and it isnt that loud. As if the dashboard is flexing or something.

Yeah... that's kinda like how it sounds... but shouldn't be normal since I haven't heard this on ANY of my previous cars.

 

The Steering wheel also has some sort of light squeek sound when I turn.

 

I been hearing it. It sounds like something is adjusting or some actuation pump or something. It comes and goes.

Bringing my car in tomorrow. Will see what the service guy say.

it will be the motors that mix the cold and warm air together in the heating cooling system. Some call them heater flap motors. There are about 16 of them. I'm on my third set for the same problem. Turn off the heat/air completely and see if the noise stops.

 

I have the same problem too .... Dealer said it is the heater system , they replace it and is gone for now ( about a month ) and they said it is a common problem for the 04' and 05' .

I just noticed this noise today, I have a V6, 08 and the climate control was off.
