Looking thru the threads and I see that on occasion you have some deals on the CR Spotless system. I like the one with the Airmax as a bundle!
Do you know if you are going to be running a Memorial Day special?

How do you recommend cleaning your polishing pads? Through them in the wash, hit it with some compressed air, or just pat the excess compound off with your Hans or towel? What if the compound is still wet from just being used with compound?

 

We found spraying the pad with Autoglym Interior Cleaner and allowing them to sit for a few minutes, then rinsing with lukewarm water cleans the pad to an almost new state. Pat the pads down with a microfiber towel to absorb most of the water. Then put the pad on the polisher and spin it on the highest speed to get most of the water out and allow it to air dry.

I participated in this group buy for CR Spotless (https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...group-buy.html) 3 years ago and I've only used it once... I need to get it sold to clean out space in my garage. Do you think the Resin inside is still good or is it now expired? How about the drum of refill? It has never been opened... Is it still good? Just wanted to make sure the buyer can still use it. Thank you.

 

The resin will need replacing. I think the drum should be OK. Not positive. Best way to find out is to use it and see how much life it gives you. The unit itself is almost bullet-proof and should be fine.

 

Thanks, Mo! I turned on the machine and the indicator says '0'...and that's without hose plugging in...so I guess it needs to be replaced? Hope it's not too hard to replace the resin and please let me know if you have any tips. I will do that...thanks!
