Scuderia Options

Hi guys,

I'm in the process of ordering a Scuderia for Oct. 08 delivery. A couple of important questions that I need some help and answers on please:

1) The dealer here told me that the Scuderia comes with the "standard" 430 seats, and NOT the carbon fiber racing seats we've seen on the cars in Frankfurt or on every other Scuderia in the clips on youtube.

Supposedly, the carbon fiber seats are an Option that we have to pay for.

Can someone please clarify this matter.

2) I first hear that only 4 colors are standard on the Scuderia: red (don't know which one), yellow, black, and silver. After asking the dealer, he tells me actually all 17 or 18 standard colors available on the 430 are available on the Scuderia.

Any truth to this?

3) Gold stripes: car comes with graphite stripes as standard, can the gold stripes be ordered? Dealer is not sure and will ask, but says Ferrari will do any color. Would it be an extra cost option?

4) Warranty: All Ferraris now come with a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty. The Ferrari officials in Frankfurt say this is applicable on the Scuderia. The dealer says the Scuderia will probably have a 2 year warranty, such as the Enzo, since it is also classified as a Supercar.

I appreciate the help guys

Thanks SPIVY...now with regards to the seats, do you mean that the carbon fiber racing seats come as standard on the Scuderia?

Yes, originally there was two different types of seats but not how you think. There was one for pass, one for driver. But they scrapped that.

Hiper,

Are you sure you are not dealing with a Ford dealer?

It's amazing that "your" dealer does not know these answers but others do!

I am stunned!

Very, very nice view.

Honestly though how could a Ferrari dealer not know about a model's offerings?

Loool well you'd expect that here in Kuwait...The dealer is actually supposed to check on all my questions and come back to me with answers this week.

He's actually a dealer for Ferrari, Maserati, Bentley, Jaguar and also....TATA and Daihatsu, so go figure

Now I better understand.

I was unaware of your location but understand now that he's not a dedicated dealer.

I love that place! Have you ever been to Lake Lugano? It's right next to Como. I have been seriously thinking of getting a place there. It has the tax benefits of Switzerland with the beauty of Como.

Very interesting, how long does it take olive trees to mature? How many hectares are you looking at?

Based on what I see here in Calif I'd guess 3-5 years but I'd prefer to find an established farm for sale so that it needs only maintenance and then harvest w/in the 1st year for a quick ROI.

Maybe 20-40 hectacres or more. it would all depend upon what's available.

I like the Tuscany area near Certaldo if you know the area. It's a bit South of Florence.
