need advice
i am considering this car http://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/...?itemid=439254 does anybody know anything about it.thanks in advanced
I believe that is Tony Kannan's former car. I think it was suspected to have been repainted. If you notice the rear decklid, you will notice the stripe was reapplied incorrectly. The green and red should be opposite what they are.
I would post this on Ferrarichat.com and see what they say, they normally keep good track of the CS's that are available. You can also call a Ferrari dealership and have them run the VIN, that should give you more info.
Keep us posted, and good luck!

I'm trying to remember where I read that someone inquired about the car and heard that was was originally silver. TK is apart of this forum, I will PM him and see if he has anything to say

Doesn't look like he has been active on this forum for over a month, so I PM'd him on another forum he is apart of where he is somewhat active. I will let you know if I hear from him. Good luck!

The car is new a freind of mine both from me and now he is selling.

Celebrity owned cars seems to bring a premium which makes no sense to me.
Who cares who owned it.
I would say the price is very high, and if in fact it has been repainted, that would affect its value.
I'd do my homework on it and forget who owned it.
If the car is good and if you like it and can work an agreeable, workeable price, you might have something.
However, you need the written service records to know what was done or what's due.
Stradale's are no different from standard 360's in terms of maintenance.
You might want to have the brakes evaluated for wear. The carbon brakes can run $30K for a redo!
