... at every service? I searched but didn't find much of interest.

Please say it doesn't.

Engine out majors... the minors are fluids and similar less invasive procedures.

tonyh is infamous around these parts
ferrari recommend dropping engine for belt services -every 3 years. However some uk specialists do the belts in situ by dropping fuel tank and gaining access that way.

Jox...... I thought the 355 (like the 348) needed to have maint done with the engine dropped. (basically the engine and sub-frame come down together).
