Whats this 430 worth?
Ive been watching the market and it seems like they are slowly coming down. This car doesnt seem to have any major options. What would you offer for it? i was thinking 195k?

It has the factory spare which is rare and expensive as it takes up most of the precious little trunk space. Few order it as it's quite pricey and not in demand but it's there.
It is leather covered behind the seats which is an expenisve option.
It has yellow calipers.
It looks like a very nice car.
I'd start at $185K and see what happens.
If you can go see the car.

Exotic car market is down 30% in new car sales this year. The only luxury/sports car brand showing a positive trend is Maserati who is up 16% this year (20% for the month of July when compared to last year). Couple of factors are a slow year last year inbetween product lines and delay in bringing the new car to market, as well as very aggressive corporate lease options.
This is the best time ever to buy an exotic car, with new sales down, the over MSRP premuim and waiting lists are disappearing which means without a wait list the used prices are falling fast. This time last year a 430 spyder had a wait list and over MSRP premium which left 360 spyders in the $150+ range. Now you can buy a 360 spyder for $100-115k all day long.
If it's not exactly what you want then sit tight. As the winter approaches in the NE (and more Ferrari registrations are in NY state and Toronto than anywhere else in North America) prices will continue to drop and selection will become more varied

It has some good options, but doesnt have the desirible options like scuderia sheilds, it also doesnt have daytona seats which means it has that very unattractive seat pattern, beige carpets (anybody who will buy this car will have those carpets turn to hell if they dont clean them at least every week, thats why black carpets are more desirable) low mileage which means it has most likely gotten serviced once, mild wear/bolster wrinkling on the drivers seat in conjuction to low mileage means it was most likely driven in the city during the weekends its whole life so its bound for a clutch replacement in the next 3-5 thousand miles or year. (which ever comes first) I'd say they would for about $179,900

Daytona seats are not the most desireable. They are somewhat uncomfortable and I would not get them again. Besides since I am the only one driving the car the seat position does not change. So there's no need for the electric seats. The regular seats, therefore, save weight and cost.
As to shields not so bad either. Plenty of Ferrari's don't have shields and no one I know thinks the car has less value as a result.
Pleanty of Ferrari's have tan crapets, and for many I make beautiful and very durable floor mats for them.
Low mileage means nothing to the clutch, and it should not need a new clutch. A dealer with an SD2/SD3 can adjust the PIS and evaluate the clutch wear to date, and that clutch should last many miles.
Poor usage wears the F1 quickly not low miles.
It's a nice car. If he can get for $180K that's a good deal. Less is better. Such a deal!
