Simply stated No. I've spent a lot of time in 360's and 430's. The actual platforms are the same. The moderate changes and huge horsepower gains make the car much better for high speed driving. The 360's are softer. I love both cars so I'm not dissing a 360. Anyone who tells you a 360 CS is better than a 430 Coupe needs their head examined. They are caught up in the stigma of the cars. You are buying it for "unique" more than a race oriented design imho. I will say that the 80hp gain over the 360 will tend to get inexperienced drivers in trouble more and this will make the 360 CS less of a handful at times. The 360CS is better at high speeds than a 360 Coupe. This I would say, but not tons like the Scud over the 430 coupe. I've not spent a lot of time in 360 Coupes, just Spiders. It's shifting is smoother and possibly a little quicker than a standard and the car seems to be more agile to me.

Buy a CS for it's Unique ownership quality. They are beautiful and fun. Buy a 430 for it's PURE Bang for your buck. I think they are beautiful and for the same money you get 25% more care.....my opinion I know.
