04 360 CS or 2010 911 Turbo...
04 360 CS or 2010 911 Turbo...
I have a 2009 C4S now..with a 2010 PDK Turbo on order.
Anyone have experience with the 2007-2009 Turbo and 360 CS.
Info on both would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I don't think they are actually comparable, 360 CS is much more comparable to GT3. It is a light weight version of 360 Modena, with perhaps slightly more power and different gearing and suspension. In fact, I think 360 CS is more heavily oriented toward the track car than the GT3.
Almost impossible to consider CS a daily driver, while 997 turbo clearly can be, at least my 996 turbo was capable of being driven daily.

+1^ I've owned a few Porsche's (2 Turbo's) and although they are the best in the breed, - Ferrari's are a whole different category. Especially the 360CS. Keep in mind Ferrari ownership is just the beginning, being able to keep it is another. However, if you have done all your research, then HANDS DOWN.....the 360CS (I've driven one) will have you grinning every time you take her out.
Cheers.
Cheers.
Bleed Porsche - Love them - worked for them on/ off from 2005.
With that said - 360 CS -
New turbo - nicely optioned - $140-150k
CS- maybe $160-$170 - maybe in the $140 range - not 100%
Talking with a ferrari specialist - compared the $150k F430 to 100k car down the road. many years out - 5+
CS - he expected the car to maybe hold where it was - or maybe $120-130k -
I believe him from the amount of people with nice garages --having to have a CS.
New turbo - $20k worth of markup. 1st years cost - to invoice. plus another $5k.
2nd year - 10-12k depreciation.
3rd year on - about $8k.
Off the cuff, but I'm pretty good on my used p-cars.
I'd pick up a used 997 turbo would be a better investment.

total driving enjoyment.
Ferrari 360 CS!
haven't driven it but it's a ferrari more in-line with the a GT3 - which I find much better than a turbo.
Turbo is great if you just want to have a driver that is the halo of the 911.
Fast - drive everyday - bla bla
Ferrari 360CS is an event.
The lucky people in the passenger seat will remember the ferrari ride for the rest of their lives.

Have driven a 2007 997TT, didn't do much for me so I ended up going for a RS.
The only item the RS has over the Stradale is the 6 speed (there is nothing like going through the gears especially the RS gearbox).
The Stradale is the closet thing to an adult go cart with the exception of track only cars.

I would go with the CS but much rather have a 430 than a 360. But hands down the CS is the winner. You already have a C4S so I don't think that you will find much difference from the Turbo other than the change in the body kit.
Yeah, the turbo makes a tad bit more than a body kit.
Just depends what you want - if your even considering a CS instead of a F430 then it doesn't seem much of a debate. A casual Turbo driver wouldn't have a CS on the list in the first place.
