Used 03 360 spider

Was at the Porsche dealer yesterday and they had a 03 360 spider with 700 miles on it... Red/tan... Car sold for 245K..... Originally stickered for 197K.....

Car was spotless....

Damn! That's a good ROI for the guy that ordered it and waited in line.

all the more to dump the TT...resale on these things sux!! I do not want to get over MSRP like rari owners (that would be nice) but the current hits on the TTs are beyond normal depreciation for a car!! Even Camrys keep a better % of MSRP at resale

depends on how many miles you put on, but IMHO unless the car is only a w/e driver (and only some w/es at that), the cost per mile should be significantly lower on a turbo than 360 -- regardless of resale value. High mileage ferraris are significantly discounted from lower mileage ones (of which there are many), plus maintenance/possible repairs.

sure resale sucks on the turbos right now, especially compared to historical performance, but unless you go way down to a EVO or WRX I don't think one can get the same performance/price/excitement ratio that the turbo offers ... even vs. a Ferrari.

plus, with all the highly-depreciating mods people put on their cars on this board, don't tell me resale value is of concern!

can they sell the car just like that?
i though Ferrari dealers were making people some sort of waiver that they can't sell the car for a given amount of time. Cuz of all the flipping etc. Anywayz. that's a good ROI.
I am just curious as we are on the wait list for a 360 or it's replacement 420...

245k for a used 360 Spider is a very strong number, I know of one that sold new in the spring for 235k.

A good friend of mine has his '02 Spider very aggressively priced at $215,000 if anyone is interested. Titanium with black, large sport seats with grey stitching, Challenge front grill, Scuderia Shields, red calipers, 6-speed, 850 mi, immaculate.

I will check to see if my buddy has some digital photos to forward to you. If not it may be a few days, it's raining pretty good in the Bay Area today, and forecast to continue.

I was surprised by how little difference there is in the sport seat sizes. I went from his large seats to another friend's small sport seats and could barely tell a difference. I'm 5'10", 170 lbs, 34" waist and the large seats felt fine (but then so did the small...the large would give you a bit more "wiggle room" on longer drives.)
