F430 radio over engineered?

Guys,

I ordered an F430 spyder for my godfather and had the pleasure of driving it yesterday. What a beauty! I was wondering if any of you guys felt that the radio was shall we say over-engineered? Other then that, the shifting was flawless and worth every penny.

Congrats on the purchase!

I agree the radio is very complicated, but with an exhaust note such as that of the F430, who cares!

Did you go with the 6MT or F1?

Thomas......make sure to leave the manetino on low grip.....also, wait till you see the new wheels. After, the wheels are done, the car will most likely go to Arling at Lucent for some smoked lights.......its like prada for car

Did they change the radio? I thought it came with the silver faced Becker that is in the 04 and later 996. Maybe it's the Becker Traffic Pro? Does it have nav integrated into the stereo? DIN sized?

The owner's manual had instructions on how to use the nav however could not figure it out........like the other guys said.....listen to the engine.....F#$@ the radio. I still dont know how the hell they could put nav on that little screen.
