Estimate on 2005 Modena Spyder
There is red and tan 2005 modena spyder with a 6 speed and 6000 miles. Has the shields and grill in mint condition. They are asking 215,000. I think that is way over priced what do you guys think it should be? Thanks

Arnie,
It's the time of year. Spiders are in demand, and that might be a bit pricey.
Also, it's the end of the 360 spiders, and the dealer is probably playing on that fact as well.
Check with http://www.naplesmotorsports.com/ as a reference as well as http://www.drautos.com/

I did see that, too, but I did remember that when the spider first came out it was sometimes referred to as the Modena spider.
What size are your rear tires?

Michelin makes the Goodyear tire for the Corvette Z06=325/30-19.
End of this Sept Michelin is introducing that tire size in the Cup series. It's a dead-on replacement in all respects for the 275/40-18 OEM size 360 tires.
I am then going to replace my rims with 12" rears and 9" fronts and then go to the 245/35-19 for the fronts as well so that I'll have PS2 Cups all around.
Would love to go with the Novitec rims but I refuse to get caught in the P Zero impossible availability issues! Too dangerous if one loses a tire and can't get a replacement. I had a quote of $900 each for the 355/25-19 rears! Ridiculous.
So this new Michelin Cup offers a great alternative.
Sorry did not mean to hijack the thread!

The 245's on 9's up front could pose a clearance problem ... you will need to roll the fenders completly flat. I have minor issues with 235's on 8.5's.

Maybe I'll stick with 235's on the front. I have 225's now on 8" rims but I intend to change the rims.
I have heard that the Novitec's are quite heavy.
