Veyron Top Gear Power Lap

Look at this vid of Tiff from 5th Gear driving it. Even he cant' get the car to rotate much, and if you're familiar with him and his driving, you know that's rare.

The Zonda on the other hand, RWD, better balance, so the Stig can maintain nice and controlled slip angles going around the track.
Regardless, it's hard to fight physics and make a 4k lb car change directions fast.
I think it was more a case of the Veyron understeers when pushed hard and you can't get it to rotate into a nice slip angle during cornering unless you're throwing the car around (not the best way to get good lap times).

I agree with the point that, i don't think they pushed the Veyron the whole way, i mean the last thing you want to do is crash someones Veyron, if it was a factory loaner then im sure they would have gone harder, but when you are talking about someone elses pride and joy, thats on the back of your mind.
Maybe the veyron needs to be pushed that extra bit harder to get it to turn in better and reduce the understear, i don't know i havn't driven one, either way i think it could achieve a better time.
