There's a house in my area I've been keeping an eye on to snap up. It's a 60's house that is totally oldschool inside. I'd rent the basement out, live in it for a year or two then gut it and make it totally modern.

It's a backsplit. I would totally modernize the front fascia and add a 2nd floor above the living room at the front of the house. Make it a master bedroom with ensuite and walk-in closet, and pure glass across the front. Then I'd do a roof top deck on top of the existing 2nd floor at the back...



Last asking price was $600k. I figure $480k-$500k and it would make sense.

I saw the house in person. the picture do it no justice!!! Gomez has built an awesome place and the views are unbelievable, especially the sunsets!

I'm not really a modern guy, but his place makes think twice about that.

Its the details that really make it all come together.

 

Beautiful house and location. I have spent a lot of time in La Jolla and Del Mar, and love it down there. I love all the glass!
