RaceDeck install

I am getting ready to purchase my RaceDeck flooring but before doing so I have a question regarding possible noise from this floor.

Some have stated that they have a "clapping" noise when walking on the floor. Is this due to uneven floor, poor installation or....??

Also, would it be a good idea to lay some sort of underlayment as you would a laminate floor? If so, what type? I live in South Florida so water and moisture is definitely something to keep in mind.

Thanks in advance!

This is what I did and no noise at all. BTW, very happy with RaceDeck.

I might just do the landscape fabric as it will not retain moisture.

I rather just do it from the get go and not have to take off the floor and reinstall it, if I do have this issue.

I'm about to order my RaceDeck flooring tonight/tomorrow! Just called, and the lady was very helpful. I only have a 1 car garage so it's very inexpensive. Gives me more funds to play with for some nice stainless steel cabinetry.

Thank you! After browsing many forums, it looks like everyone says you guys are the best. The prices are excellent as well. Honestly, I don't remember who I spoke with, but I will be calling tonight/tomorrow again.
