Garage Door Openers....What do you have?

I know some folks on here have the idrive and like it. I am really thinking about picking one up as one of my chamberlain units is flaking out.
I also looked at the Genie excelerator even though I would like to get away from the whole track setup on the ceiling.
What are your successes and failures with openers?

I put Genie's in myself, it's fairly easy to do, they work well enough. I had tracks anyway for the doors so adding the screw drive didn't affect head room or anything like that. They need greasing every so often and if something gets stuck while they're going up they do their best to crush it.

Not bad for $100 or so each though.

3 liftmasters on the new garage. The garden shed has a Craftsman belt drive and a chain drive. I plan on getting a surge protector for mine because I have lost two of them in the past 5 years to lightining. They are not worth repairing.

I second Chris' post. I have no plans for a lift since our ceilings are not high enough so we bought a couple of the heavy lift screw type Genies. I have done a couple before so there are easy to install. The screw type seem to last longer and require less maint. then the belt/chain type.

I didn't use anything to fancy. Craftsman belt-drive opener. Really quiet, 5 year warranty!
