Get rid of your ’06-’08 Porsche Cayman fog-lights and make your Porsche look newer than a 2nd Gen Cayman with these custom-made LED Spars. These water-proof spars are made in the U.S.A out of polypropylene T20 (just like your Porsche OEM parts) and have 100% color impregnation to eliminate chipping. Designed to work for over ten years, these spars use ultra-high-output, wide-angle LEDs to improve your visibility in subpar driving conditions. In addition, they come with an extra strong polypropylene mesh (Radiator Guards) that protect your air conditioning condensers and radiators.

Shipping + Installation
Getting these LED spars installed in your vehicle is very straight-forward. It’s a simple matter of plug-n-play. If you can replace a fog-light bulb, you can install it yourself. Should you need to, you can return to the stock configuration just as easily. You will receive two Porsche Cayman LED Spars and Radiator Guards (one for each side) complete with step-by-step instructions and all the necessary hardware.

Warranty
These spars come with a limited one-year warranty protecting buyers against any electronic defects within the circuit board, LEDS, wiring pigtail, or the BAX9S connector. This warranty does not cover any damage due to misuse, accidents, collisions, modifications, impacts, or failure to waterproof as specified in step #15 in the installation instructions.

Replacement LEDs
In the unlikely scenario that you need to replace one or more of your LEDs out of warranty, you can purchase a replacement LED array assembly for $49 each + S&H. This assembly includes the circuit board, 15 component LEDs, a wiring pigtail, BAX9S connector, and installation supplies. We will be happy to provide the labor and potting material needed to install your replacement LED array assembly. Should you need to return you damaged or out-of-warranty unit, you will assume the associated shipping costs.

It should be noted that these are photos of the "first article." First articles are parts manufactured prior to the start of production for the purpose of ensuring that the mold is capable of producing a product that will meet specified requirements.

 

The car in the above link is mine. I have to say that I absolutely love my LED spars with radiator guards. Even though the ones installed on my car were one of the first articles prior to production, the fit and finish is top notch and the LEDs are brilliant and really update the look of the car. The installation was very easy and should take most folks less than 30 minutes to install.

Joe was great to work with and is a top notch guy. Communication was/is excellent and he really does hold a deep passion for this product and these cars. I really appreciate that he is a Cayman enthusiast that saw a need/demand in the market and took a risk to bring this product to market.

After a year of development, testing and refining, the LED Cayman Spars began shipping to customers on Friday!!!! The entrepreneur behind the product is fulfilling orders in the order they were received. You can jump on the official group buy roster here:

Just wanted to call special attention to the fact that the group buy price includes shipping to the lower 48 states. The price does not include shipping outside the lower 48. If you place an order for the Cayman LED Spars from outside the lower 48, we will circle back to you at the time of shipping for a final shipping and handling charge. Thus far, the charge has only been an extra $10 or $20 USD.

 

You might be wondering, "if I place an order today, how long until my order ships?" The manufacturer is fulfilling orders for this Porsche Cayman LED Spar in the order they were received. The first ~30 orders have shipped. There are currently ~150 orders. As soon as the product is manufactured and inspected, it ships.
