Finally took the RS and CS to the track!!!

This Saturday I had the time to take BOTH the RS and the Stradale to the track. (Firebird West) I took out the Stradale first and did a few laps then I came in and jumped it the RS and did a few laps. My wife had the stop watch and I was really surprised that I was 5 seconds faster in the RS (@ 1.06+ sec). Granted, The track was a little dusty (and colder?) when I got out in the Stradale so I couldn't push it as hard but still 5 sec is a lot. I loved the F1 shifting on the Ferrari but The carbon brakes on the RS were much much better. It seemed that I felt more confident in the RS. I still love both cars (not selling eather) the same, But Finally putting these cars on the track really gives you an idea of their FULL potential. Thanks to AZPCA for putting the DE event. It was fun!

It really is. Five seconds makes that CS look like a slouch. I know the RS is amazing, but five seconds. Wow!

Well like I mentioned before, I was the first car on the track and it was a little dusty so I couldn't push it as hard. I think my confidence level also went up by the time I got in the RS, but I've driven this track before in my 968 and 911 T so I knew it pretty well. The only thing I can say made a difference is the track condition was not the same in both cars, and my level of confidence. BTW, This is the first time I tracked eather car.

I'm glad that you had that experience. Both cars were made to be enjoyed on the track.

My plain ol'GT3 could do around 3-4 seconds better than a CS on Mosport(around 1:35 average laptime) with same driver and same condition.
