The Dymags finally came in

Included are a few pics of the Dymag wheel. The fronts are 19x9, rears 19x12. I was only able to weigh the front. It weighs 16 lbs. The look and finish of the wheels are outstanding. The wheels can not go on the GT3 presently because the car is laid up at Champion because the crank pulley lost its screw that holds it, became free wheeling and the belt did not turn. The car severely over heated. The pulley was destroyed and a new one is coming from Germany by way of China. I can't believe this happened to a new car. I feel I can't trust the car anymore. Has this happened to anyone with a GT3? When it happened it couldn't have occurred at a worst time. I was dicing it with a black ZO6 Vette and now he thinks I whimped out! To make things better I just bought an '07 GT3RS, orange with black and PCCB. It had 670 miles. Not optioned as I would have but hey it's an RS! Pics will follow of the new RS and there will be pics of the GT3 with the Dymags and other mods comming. Need to re-dyno the GT3 with the Dymags and submit results. Also waiting on the Sparco DTM carfon seats for the GT3. Now I need to start the modding of the RS. Will follow up guys, GT3Ranger...Juan

Hi Juan. The Dymags are really sharp. Be sure to post photos when you install them. Sorry about the GT3's pulley malfunction.. but that beautiful RS must make it a lot easier to deal with. Good luck!

Juan,
Congratulations on the arrival of the Dymags. I've been eagerly awaiting for you to get them myself. Can't wait to see them on the car and get your impressions. The color you chose is what I will go with if I decide on dymags. Sell me on these so I don't buy the RS98s.

Forgot to mention this is the gunmetal finish on the magnesium centers. They offer basic center colors but they will not color match. You can have that done locally. They take along time. My order was placed Aug. 3.

Congrats on the Dymags. I love mine. The difference is noticeable, and I love the look. My 19" Dymags with tires weigh 52 lbs. less than my 20" TechArts with tires. Big difference in performance.

Those wheels look fantastic! Are you putting them on the GT3 or the new RS?

Just curious to see if anyone has had any issues with these at track. Also, do these wheels have an expected lifetime of any sorts?

The Dymags were ordered for the GT3. I believe the offsets are not the same between the GT3 and the RS. The RS with the 44 mm wider track in the rear may change the offsets. Could someone who knows please respond? If they work I may put them on the RS but all the mods so far are on the GT3. I may keep the RS totally stock but it'll be hard because I always love to mod. Juan,
The Dymags won't work on the RS. The fronts will, but the rears have a 17mm more negative offset if offsets were made to stock.
