we all volunteered to help Noel police the hotrodders today and we caught my neighbour having fun with a medium profle in his Caterham 7.

an official from the NRA with gold all over his hat came over to tell us we were ******* for smoking fine Cubans and shooting the breeze. then he saw my WotaGuy Racing Decal and let us go with a warning.

chris,

Noel's also running corsa's on his gt3 also and loves them. i liked them alot on my SY GT2 and plan to go to them when jack's PS burn off these bling wheels i bought from him!!!

i value a little wet handling enough to prefer Corsa, and not Cups. jack is running Cups on the Gt2 at the moment -we are unlikely to have a wet day in LA this time of year!

Watt: So the Corsa's can be used with a reasonable degree of safety if one is caught in the rain when compared to the Cups???

Noel: For street use, how do the corsa's compare with the Yoko's you had at one time??? What handling characteristic improvments do you notice??? Thanks

Chris,
Handling wise, there really wasn't much difference between the two, except the Corsas obviously have much more grip. The Yok AVS Sport has the harser ride, especially as it wears, where as the Corsa is surprisingly comfortable, much like the MPS2 but with none of that tire's sidewall flex.

All in all the Corsa is an excellent tire, best tire I've tried.

Thanks Noel...Guess it doesn't make sense for me to have the Corsa's unless I was doing more track work...I don't find them too harsh, but they are still quite new and I am used to hard rides being that my Cayenne is the spring vs air suspension and is quite harsh with 19" wheels...

Corsas are indeed better for the rain, but the dry grip on the PSC's when warm is substantially better!

Also, my old set of Corsas on the turbo started to bubble on the rear sidewall after some use. That is definitely something to look out for!

My little old ice cream truck on Corsas with a factory Geometry set up kept pace with a well driven GT3 with a full track geometry on Cups.

I am very pleased with them and there is still about 4mm left after 4 trackdays and about 3500 miles of road use.

Best bit is that when it rains, which it does here a lot, you can still go out to play whilst the Cup guys smoke cheap rollups and plastic coffee....

Watt, if the Journoman Roundel got you off wait until he sees you sporting your new Journoman apparel!

They have arrived and will be dispatched later this week.

P.
