Hi guys, im a porche fan from the heart but the new scuderia really takes my attention. A couple of years ago 360 challenge was compared with the 996 gt3 rs but now a lot of people on the internet are comparing the f430 scuderia to the 997 gt2. Im guessing it would be quicker around the track compared to the 997 gt3 rs due to lighter body but how does it stack up against the 997 gt2? Also which one would you take home?

 

Scuderia - ONLY because of availability.
Lots of Porsche GT3-RS on Rennlist, Ebay, Etc. Very few CS's even today.

That being said, I hope to have one of each...

 

I am going to have to say The Scud, but then again if I could, I would buy both.

 

the scuderia is one good car and the other hand the 997 gt2 is underestimated next to it.

F430 S for me. I know I know - it is going to be a bit slower. But the lines, the seats the engine sound - it is just amazing!

 

Great writeup in the new EVO on both...they are both awesome...big price difference...

 

Hate to say it but I'd take the Scuderia, mainly because I think the looks of the GT2 isn't special enough, also the sound the 430S produces is just mindblowing.

It'll be a beast...will strongly hold it's market value ...those getting ones at MSRP/co owned with the dealer will be driving for free...only dealers will see the profits to be made on the car (premiums) and not the individual...those paying premiums will be at least 100k over and even then will probably have to sign a sale back agreement....

 

The 430 scud. An amazing pice of machinery. Not that the GT2 isn't.

Many reviews say the scud is an even better track car than the Challenge Strad. If thats the case, it must be an amazing car bceause the CS was amazing!

I don't see too many 996 GT2's on the track. I guess it depends on why you wan the cars.

to be honest i love the way gt2 looks but it looks dull next to the scuderia and the scuderias exhaust note is just too good to pass on i guess sorry gt2
