would you repair an R compound tire?

would you repair an R compound tire?

i've got a nail on one of my rear tires. the tire still has ~50% thread life left. it will just be strictly for street use. is this okay to do on R compound tires? damn Corsas cost $600 each for the 305/19s.

why does tire rack show three different prices for these tires?

different price for left and right tire. not sure what's the 3rd one you're seeing?

Plug/patch. Looks like an engine valve. Only way to go.

I would do the patch and plug, fyi I did it to one of my rear tires and auto cross it and no problems.

I'd have no concerns about fixing it, unless it is in the sidewall. I've fixed half a dozen tires without a problem. One on a TT, the latest on my C2S.

My left rear is plugged and patched and I've done a track day on it. No problem at all.
