996 GT3 Clubsport option? other options?

Could you order the 996 in Germany with the Sport seats without having to get the Clubsport option? Anyone know where I can find an option list for this car? I know we here were unable to buy these seats as a option from the factory..

Option # for them may help?

Yes you were able to have them separate, even to Boxster or to a normal 996.

Most GT3s that are not Clubsport still have those nice seats in Europe. They are usually in leather though. Correct Clubsport-spec seats are not leather, because it is not fire-resistant and thus not approved by FIA for racing.

The point of Clubsport package is you can take your car racing in club series rightaway...

I have the option code somewhere...If you want to buy them contact Gert www.carnewal-europe.com

EDIT: By the way I just uploaded some excellent Ring pictures at http://carfreaks.net/photos/ring082/

I can get some for you next week. Dont have the car at the moment. Mine is Mk1 which the US didnt get. Guages are pretty similar but no trip computer and the last number is 9 insteas of 10 I think on the rev counter. Also the top speed on the speedo is lower.
