Introduction...

Hi All,

Just to introduce myself. Have been a long time Porsche fan and owner, having gone through a few incarnations of Porsches- basically every model since the 3.2 Carrera, through the 964 Carrera 4, to a 993 Carrera 2, a 993 Carrera 4S (that I still own till today), a 996TT.

On Monday I finally acquired my new (to me) and absolute dream car.... a 2007 GT3RS. It was an absolute impulse buy, and replaced my 996TT as my weekend toy. Car is black with orange, orange roll cage, racing harness and fire retardant race buckets. It is one of ony 8 997 GT3RS's in Singapore.

I look forward to learning from all of you and cant wait to get this thing on the track!!!

Nice impulse buy! If I did that the price would be double because I would need to make my wife whole. When I bought my first TT my wife picked out a new Z8....ouch!

Awesome car.....congratulations.

I am living rather dangerously I must admit... the wife is with the kids back in Australia visiting family and she has only seen pictures sent via mms!!!! She doesn't realise I've lost two rear seats and the auto slush box....

Thanks very much for the compliments... it always helps me justify my stupidity...

Dear All,

Thanks very much for the comments. It makes me feel slightly more justified in my actions

Must admit that I am loving the car more and more with each passing mile, and I haven't even hit the track with it yet!!!

That is awesome! If she is anything like my wife she'd be mad about something - might as well get a kickass car out of the deal. Good job!

Hmmm very nice. So jealous you live in Singapore. You should take that thing out to Sepang and stretch out its legs.
